The Yamamoto Single Tail Grub is a soft plastic grub bait from the mind of legendary bait designer and Senko creator, Gary Yamamoto. The effectiveness of grubs is often overlooked, but anglers across the country have found a lot of success using these baits on suspended bass. The bait is best rigged with a round ball head jig and swam around steep bluff walls. Simply count the bait down to the desired depth and reel it slowly through the fist, similar to how a swimbait would be retrieved. River fishing is another location that a grub is a great choice. Locate eddys in moving water and retrieve the bait slowly through them to attract strikes. Single tail grubs are also effective when used as a trailer for jigs and spinnerbaits. The grub will create more water resistance for a slower fall and added water displacement. This single tail grub is 5″ long and comes 20 per pack.
